Art intervention by artist Lisa Wigham, documented by photographer Denise Swanson, of waiting room installation in Preston railway station. World War 1, WW1, meeting place

dds:design was initially set up in 2001 as a means for Denise and her sons Daniel and David to each follow their own creative paths. Graphic design and illustration, film and video production, copywriting, page layout and design, were all skills each had developed and fit neatly together. This later evolved to include web design and development, programming, server management and photography.

As time passed and each pursued different goals, dds:design remained a constant, evolving further to take on web hosting and supporting a small number of loyal clients, with web design and photographic services.

Today, dds manages a dedicated web server on which its own clients’ sites are hosted and supported. The sites are designed and built to specification, focusing on the needs of artists and creators. Denise also provides photography of artworks whilst Daniel offers bespoke site or app development. David now works in TV production
